LEGO Lord of the Rings trailer features LEGO decapitation
Not the beard!
While we weren't quite sure what to expect from the forthcoming LEGO adaptation of The Lord of the Rings, we were pleasantly surprised when we saw the plucky yet violent direction Traveller's Tales is taking in the new trailer. It's got that signature LEGO brand of silly humor sure, but it also has LEGO orcs getting sliced up all over the place.
We've also got to give credit where it's due to Traveller's Tales for that Balrog. That thing looks amazing in LEGO form. Peter Jackson should have done it in LEGOs all along. LEGO Lord of the Rings is currently scheduled for release in October of this year. If you missed it, you can also check out the first trailer released for the title.
