LEGO The Hobbit Minikit locations guide

Inside Information

Thief in the Shadows

Minikit #1 (Free Play)

Up the very first ladder is a Morgul brick structure. Bust through with Sauron to grab the minikit on the other side.

Minikit #2 (Free Play)

Down the first ramp is a net. Use a Goblin character to climb it to another minikit.

Minikit #3 (Free Play)

Down the next ramp is a dirt patch. Use a shovelling character here to dig up a key--in a moment, you'll come across a chest. Use the key to open it, revealing a minikit.

Minikit #4 (Free Play)

Just past the dirt patch is a set of scales. Use a slingshot character to shoot the target three times, netting you another minikit.

Minikit #5 (Free Play)

In the final section is a catapult made of blue magic bricks. Blast this with a wizard to knock a minikit down to your level.

Thorin's Plan

Minikit #6 (Story Mode)

Right above the start is a handle you can grab with Dori's flail. Latch on, then have Dwalin hop onto the chain to bring a minikit crashing down.

Minikit #7 (Free Play)

When you have to scale the pillar to pull a lever, check the back left part of the ground level. Use a wizard to light up the dark alcove back here, and you can grab a minikit.

Minikit #8 (Story Mode)

This one's pretty tricky. When you need to set the slingshot targets to red, blue, and red, do so to get the loose bricks for the flash fire table. Then, set the targets to red, blue, and red a second time. This will dispense a cleverly hidden minikit.

Revenge!

Minikit #9 (Free Play)

There are three rolled-up banners in this zone. Two can be seen from the ground level, and the final one is at the top of the pillar. Shoot all three with an archer to receive a minikit.

Minikit #10 (Free Play)

At the top level of the pillar are some arrow pegs. Shoot these with Legolas to create jump poles, then leap up to the game's final minikit on a high ledge.
