LEGO The Hobbit Minikit locations guide
Looking for Proof
Note: The game's labelling for this level is incorrect. There are 4 minikits in "Finding the Tombs," and 4 more in "The Nine, Summoned."
The High Fells
Minikit #1 (Free Play)
At the top of the first set of stairs are some arrow pegs. Shoot these with Legolas or Tauriel, then swing up the poles to grab a floating minikit.
Minikit #2 (Free Play)
Before entering the cave, move right to find some rocks. Bust these up for loose bricks you can build into a track. Do so, then use a great hammer character to slide the tombstone, popping the top and freeing a minikit.
Finding the Tombs
Minikit #3 (Story Mode)
When climbing the handles to open the first gate, look to the left for an extra handle hidden in the shadows. Leap there to find a minikit.
Minikit #4 (Story Mode)
There are three blue lamps to find in the maze. The first is north of the starting area, the second is just east of the first broken bridge, and the third is just east of the exit. Light all three with magic blasts to score a minikit.
Minikit #5 (Story Mode)
By the first blue lamp is this skeleton clutching a minikit. Bust it up from a distance, as the floor beneath is a trip. Alternatively, you can give up a few studs to grab it.
Minikit #6 (Story Mode)
By the second blue lamp is a skeleton clutching a torch. Bust him up, grab the torch, and light the nearby campfire for another minikit.
The Nine, Summoned
Minikit #7 (Free Play)
From the start of the zone, move back toward the way you came. Back here is a minikit in wraith form; use Frodo's ring to grab it.
Minikit #8 (Free Play)
Just past the door with the four magic orbs is a large cracked rock. Buddy up two axe-wielders to bust through this; there's a minikit on the other side.
Minikit #9 (Free Play)
Just beyond, a target sticks out from the tunnel wall. Shoot it using an archer to shake up the whole cavern, releasing some ropes. Leap to these with an acrobatic character, then continue along them to reach another minikit.
Minikit #10 (Free Play)
After using a coffin to drop through the floor, you'll be right next to a gold handle. Use a flail character to yank it, freeing a skeleton and some loose bricks. These can be built into a minikit.
