Leaked Ghostbusters logline reveals story details
Paul Feig's female-led Ghostbusters reboot is one of the most anticipated movies of next year, and Den of Geek have got their hands on the studio's logline for the film (don't ask us how!), which briefly outlines what we can expect.
It reads as follows: "With paranormal activity on the rise, a Columbia University academic, her ghost-chasing friend, the friend’s business partner, and an MTA employee join forces to bust ghosts and save New York."
Ok, we admit it's vague, but it's the closest thing we've got to an official synopsis about what will happen to Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. From the sounds of things, the reboot will be following a very similar storyline to the original starring Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson. With 2016 just around the corner, here's hoping we'll see some footage soon. Please Feig, please!
Directed by Feig and starring Wiig, McCarthy, McKinnon and Jones, Ghostbusters opens in UK and US cinemas on July 15 2016.
