Latest Sims 2 shots unveiled
It's the first true Sims sequel... and it's gone all 3D on us
Electronic Arts have released a pair of new screenshots of The Sims 2, which show off the game's new camera angles.
This time round, you'll be able to control your Sims over an entire lifetime while the addition of genetics allows DNA of Sims to be passed down through generations. The gameplay itself is now more tightly focused with the inclusion of 'life's big moments' testing players' ability to lead their Sims through key events such as a first step, first crush or marriage proposal.
The Sims themselves are now more aware and responsive to both other Sims and their surroundings while relationships are more complex, with Sims able to distinguish between family and friends, platonic friendships and romantic love. All of which - as you can tell by these latest shots - takes place in a fully 3D environment.
While The Sims 2 was originally due out early this year, EA have since postponed its release and we're currently waiting for confirmation of a new on-sale date
