Kingdom Hearts 3 gets new trailer, weaponized teacup ride
After many delays and fakeouts in Square Enix's E3 2015 conference, we finally got an extended look at the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3. The trailer opened with what appeared to be a young Master Eraqus and Master Xehanort debating over the nature of - what else - light and darkness. Then we're thrown headfirst into the spectacle of KH3, however much of what was shown was an extension of features already announced.
A lot of emphasis was placed on the theme park ride-based attacks, such as summoning the tea cup ride or swinging ship to attack enemies. Sora - who was sporting a new red-and-black look - also morphed his keyblade into a variety of over-the-top firearms to launch a barrage of fireworks at his foes. Between these over-the-top abilities and the massive packs of enemies Sora was facing, it looks like this Kingdom Hearts will be played on a much grander scale than what has been seen in the series past.
Of course, the most important piece of information - the game's release date - remains buried among the many mysteries of Kingdom Hearts. But we'll be sure to keep you updated with all the latest details as E3 2015 continues.
