Confirming previous reports, Sony has taken the wraps off Killzone: Mercenary, revealing new details about the Vita first-person shooter, plus a release date and gameplay trailer.
Developed by Guerrilla Games Cambridge, the title sees players step into the boots of the new Mercenary faction, taking on paid contracts from both the warring ISA and Helghast forces. More details can be found in our new Killzone: Mercenary preview.
Sony has announced a Killzone: Mercenary release date of September 17, 2013 in North America, and September 18 in Europe. Customers who pre-order the game will receive access to Blackjack's Briefcase, which features a 48-hour double XP boost and an in-game cash bonus allowing them to purchase new weapons before entering the battlefield for the first time.
