Keanu Reeves rules out appearing in Point Break remake

Keanu Reeves has been asked whether he would consider appearing in the proposed Point Break remake, and has made his feelings on the matter perfectly clear…
“Absolutely not,” replied the star, before adding, “it’s not my place.” A sequel to the project had long been mooted before Alcon Entertainment announced plans for a remake back in 2011.
“If they can find a way to do it that works out good, then God bless them,” continued Reeves. "It sounds very exciting - but is it a good thing? I don't know.”
Producer Alan Kosov had previously described the project as “not a literal remake”, before going on to elaborate on the link between the two films…
“[ It will have ] elements of the original and it's not just surfing, it's other kinds of extreme sports, but surfing is very, very prominent in the story,” said Kosov. We’ll leave this one on the “maybe” shelf for now…
