Joins Jodie Foster in Roman Polanski's latest
Roman Polanski has proved well and truly that controversy is always a good thing by landing a killer cast for his new film God Of Carnage.
After being freed from prison and house arrest, Polanski hasn't missed a step jumping into his next film, casting Hollywood heavyweights Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz and Matt Dillon in God Of Carnage .
They will all play New York couples in the adaptation of Yasmina Reza’s Tony Award-winning play. When one of the couples’ children hurts the child of the other couple, the four adults meet in a park to discuss the matter.
But far from having a civilised conversation, the meeting dissolves into chaos as the parents act with increasing immaturity.
A simple enough premise, and one that will obviously rely on some whip-smart dialogue and the towering performances. With a cast like this, Polanski's already halfway there...
