Justice League: J.K. Simmons is one ripped Commissioner Gordon
That there is going to be a healthy amount of muscular good guys in Zack Snyder's Justice League movies will come as a surprise to no one, but you probably weren't thinking that one of those jacked heroes would be J.K. Simmons' Commissioner Gordon. If there was any doubt that the Whiplash actor's portrayal of Gotham City's top cop is going to be much different from Gary Oldman's take in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, a snapshot of Simmons training for the role will put them to rest.

Who needs Batfleck when you have Simmons' Gordon? With a physique like that the actor should be getting fitted for spandex rather than the Commissioner's signature overcoat...On a more serious note, this could point towards a Gordon who sees a little more action in the field, and that is no bad thing.
Directed by Zack Snyder and starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Mamoa, J.K. Simmons, Amber Heard, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher, Justice League: Part 1 is currently scheduled for a November 17, 2017 release.
