These members of groups like Climate Camp and Plane Stupid pitch their tents on the roof of a coal-burning power-station, superglue themselves to a City bank’s trading floor, and endure “kettling” by the police.
Director Emily James doesn’t explore how the campaigns are financed, and there’s no mention of infiltration by the authorities.
Yet the film does capture the solidarity among these protesters, who passionately believe that “doing something is better than doing nothing.”
