Jurassic World congratulates Star Wars: The Force Awakens on breaking box office record
Earlier this year, Jurassic World surprised many by breaking the box office opening record previously set by The Avengers, and Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige responded graciously by releasing an image on his Twitter page in congratulations. With Star Wars: The Force Awakens smashing that record over the weekend, its Jurassic World's turn to congratulate the new box office champions, and producer Frank Marshall has reciprocated the gesture. Check it out below...

While there were some who were surprised at Jurassic World's box office haul, everyone knew that Star Wars was going to do big business. The question has always been how big; it's gotten off to a great start, and with no major genre competition until Deadpool in February the numbers at the end of its cinematic run could be staggering. Sadly, this means it's unlikely we'll be getting more friendly congratulations via Twitter in the near future...
Directed by JJ Abrams and starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis, Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is out in cinemas now.
