After a shaky opening act, Julia’s Eyes jumps to life. Director Guillem Morales pulls off at least one must-see: a virtuoso sequence evoking Julia’s blindness, with nearly every shot locked onto Rueda’s face.
Shame, then, that after hitting such heights, Morales is dragged down by a silly climax. You won’t believe your eyes…
