Judd Apatow promises new movie in 2012
Is currently working on secret project
Knocked Up funny man Judd Apatow has revealed that he’s started work on his next film project, which is set to be released by Universal on 1 June, 2012.
Though there are zero details on the film beyond that, we’re pretty sure that it will involve a string of hilarious gags moulded around a story with genuine warmth and heart.
Apatow’s last film as writer and director was Adam Sandler-starrer Funny People , which received fair praise last year.
For now, the comedy mastermind is also keeping busy producing Wanderlust (starring Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston), as well as Business Trip and the feature film Pee-Wee Herman .
Considering this is the man who crashed onto the movie directing scene with The 40-Year-Old Virgin , and has produced everything from Freaks And Geeks to Talladega Nights , we’re chomping at the bit for his next solo effort.
