Joseph Gordon-Levitt says avoid Dark Knight Rises spoilers

As employees of a modern movie website, it's our job to put up set images and possible spoilers from films like The Dark Knight Rises for the people who want to see them.

But what does Joseph Gordon-Levitt think he should be telling us before the official trailer's released? "Nothing."

Levitt, who plays special assignment cop John Blake in Christopher Nolan's trilogy-closer, believes that people should avoid any information on the film until Nolan is ready to show it to us.

"I can tell you that one of the things I admire most about Mr. Nolan is that he understands that the story begins before the movie does. He's already telling the story that he's got cooked up. He's a master storyteller.

Every little bit of information he lets out, he does it at the proper time."

"Far be it for me to preempt the rhythm of his. I love that people are excited about it. I guarantee, as an audience member, one will have the best experience if one just trusts him."

Or, to put it another way and to coin a popular internet phrase: 'In Nolan we trust.'
