Jon Hamm added to Sucker Punch

Hooray for good actors getting roles in fun films! Mad Men's Jon Hamm has been cast in Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch.

Hamm, who has been seen in small roles in the likes of The Day The Earth Stood Still, is busy shooting the third season of the awesome Mad Men, which just kicked off across the pond at the weekend.

While nothing is really known about his character, though High Roller - which might be more of a description than a name - owns a brothel in the pic.

And he's joining an already intriguing, female-loaded cast that includes Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish and Carla Gugino.

You surely already know the basic plot, but just in case... Browning is a girl locked in a mental institution and threatened with lobotomy by her nasty stepfather.

She and the friends she makes journey into a crazed alternate reality where they begin to plot an escape plan for her.

With Hamm aboard, our excitement level rises even further...
