John Krasinski Interviews Hideous Men
One of the US Office stars directs his first film
John Krasinski is one of those faces in film that you recognise, but can never quite place. He’s still best known for co-starring alongside Steve Carrell in the American version of The Office, but he’s got a load of movie appearances about to strike, including small roles in Dreamgirls, The Holiday and For Your Consideration. Plus his star is on the rise, as he’s nabbed the lead in such films as Leatherheads, Licence To Wed and Two Weeks.
And he’s not just doing well in front of the camera. Krasinski has just kicked off directing his own adaptation of David Foster Wallace’s book Brief Interviews With Hideous Men. The movie will star Julianne Nicholson as a student who deals with a difficult break up by interviewing various blokes. The likes of Timothy Hutton, Law & Order’s Christopher Meloni, Josh Charles and Max Minghella are among those she talks to.
