JK Rowling announces Harry Potter site Pottermore
Author treats fans to online reading experience
JK Rowling has announced her latest addition to the world of Harry Potter : Pottermore - an online reading experience.
The website will be an interactive platform for fans to rediscover the beloved stories, as well as a place to buy the Harry Potter e-books.
Rowling has released a video explaining the concept to fans.
In the video, Rowling states that she will be personally involved in the online experience and will be sharing “additional information” about the books, suggesting that there are hidden plots to be revealed.

The Pottermore site will go live in October 2011 for everyone to see. However, there will be a chance to register and get early access to the site.
More information will be released on 31 July 2011.
