Jessica Chastain in line for Christopher Nolan's Interstellar
She could join Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway
Christopher Nolan is gradually beginning to put the pieces together for upcoming film Interstellar , with Jessica Chastain the latest star to enter talks over joining the project.
Last month saw Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway sign on to fill two of the leading roles, and according to Deadline , Chastain is also negotiating a deal to join the fun.
Nolan is playing his cards as close to his chest as ever when it comes to plot details, although we do know that the film is based around Kip S. Thorne’s theory of wormhole-enabled time travel.
The narrative will follow a space exploration mission in which said theory presumably comes to bear, with Nolan recently having performed rewrites on his brother Jonah’s script.
Directed by Nolan with a significant portion set to be filmed with IMAX cameras, Interstellar will open in the UK on 7 November 2014.
