Jesse Eisenberg "not sure what's happening" with Zombieland 2
Holy Roller's star talks vague over sequel's future
Multi-award winning actor Jesse Eisenberg has revealed that he is “not sure what’s happening” with Zombieland 2.
Asked in a recent interview whether or not the sequel was going ahead, he said:
“No. They’re writing the script right now but I haven’t seen it and I suspect the longer we wait, the less relevant it will be.”
He added, “all the actors would love to do it and the director would love to do it but I’m not sure what’s happening.”
While this doesn’t sound hopeful, he did share one other piece of intriguing information, stating, “My mother was a birthday party clown…”
Could this have been the possible inspiration behind Columbus, Eisenberg’s tightly wound hero from Zombieland , and his rampant ‘Bozophobia’?
We will make sure to keep you posted on the project. But maybe not the clown thing.
