American Ultra has released a new clip online, in which Jesse Eisenberg's mild-mannered store clerk starts to panic after killing a pair of hitmen using a gun and a spoon.
The new film sees Eisenberg's hapless stoner suddenly discovering he is a trained killer, when his dormant government training is unexpectedly activated. It soon becomes clear that his former "handlers" are trying to wipe him out, but unfortunately for them, his newfound skills are going to make that easier said than done.

Well if nothing else, we're certainly looking forward to seeing that neck-spooning scene. As Eisenberg so succinctly puts it, "his shit just like… ended." Directed by Nima Nourizadeh from a script by Max Landis, and co-starring Kristen Stewart, Walton Goggins and Bill Pullman, American Ultra will open in the US on 21 August 2015 and the UK one week later.
