Jesse Eisenberg considering While Were Young
Noah Baumbach will direct
Jesse Eisenberg and director Noah Baumbach are considering re-teaming for relationship drama While We’re Young.
The pair previously worked together on divorce comedy The Squid And The Whale , which effectively brought Eisenberg to the attention of swathes of movie-goers.
Story details for While We’re Young are currently thin on the ground, but Ben Stiller has already signed on as one half of a middle-aged couple who become alienated from their friends when they start having babies.
Naomi Watts is currently in negotiations to play his other half, while Eisenberg will play one of the friends they struggle to keep in touch with.
With Baumbach in the director’s chair, you can bet on the film containing some witty observations while simultaneously hammering home a few home truths about adult relationships.
