Jeff Daniels has been talking about his upcoming involvement in long-awaited sequel Dumb & Dumber To , and suggests that the sequel will go even further in the gross-out stakes than the original.
“We’re going to party ’til dawn and then I’m going to get on a plane and go to Atlanta and start shooting Dumb & Dumber To ,” said Daniels in the wake of his Emmy win for The Newsroom .
“The intellectual free-fall from [ Will ] MacAvoy to Harry Dunn, imagine if you will,” chuckles the star. “There are some things that’s we’re going to do in Dumb & Dumber To that make the toilet scene [ in the original ] seem lame.
“It pales in comparison and I can’t divulge what, but just that they’ve topped it. The best thing about it? I get to work with a comedic genius.”
Yep, Jim Carrey will be joining Daniels and directors the Farrelly brothers, with the film set to eventually hit our screens some time in 2014.
