Jamie Foxx finds Blood On The Leaves

After his Oscar for Ray, Jamie Foxx must be thinking that he only really finds success with films that have a musical element. Case in point - Dreamgirls was a success while Miami Vice floundered at the box office.
So he’ll be worried about his next movie’s chances – Foxx has signed up to lead the drama Blood On The Leaves, which George C Wolfe has agreed to direct for Paramount.
It’s based on Jeffrey Stetson’s 2004 book, which finds a district attorney struggling with his conscience when he has to launch a case against a black history professor on trial for revenge killings against white murderers during the Civil Rights movement.
Wolfe will start cranking the cameras once he finds a suitable second lead for the movie. Given how he seems to be everywhere at the moment, we suggest Chiwetel Ejiofor. Providing he hasn’t been signed up for three films in the last hour, that is…
