Jak and Daxter Collection hits PS3 February 7 in 720p and 3D

Good news Jak and Daxter fans, in only a few short weeks you’ll be playing the three original J & D games in glorious 720p HD, with the optional 3D. The Jak and Daxter Collection will be available February 7 (February 22 in Europe) for $39.99.

The Jak and Daxter Collection collects the first three games of the series: Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II and Jak 3. This is the first time these classic titles have been available in HD, 3D, and with Trophy support. The official PlayStation Blog has a sampling of the trophies that will be available. If reading about them has you nostalgic for your time exploring New Haven and Spargus City, you’d better just pre-order the thing already.

Before Nate and Sully, Naughty Dog’s dynamic duo was a boy and his ottsel (half otter, half weasel, of course). Whether you’ve never played a Jak and Daxter game or you’ve been chasing Eco energy all your life, this HD re-release should be a great way to experience the series next month.
