Jackman moves to TV
Producer Hugh jumps aboard CBS and sets out to make Voyages
It seems developing the Wolverine flick just wasn’t enough hard work for Hugh Jackman and his buddies at Seed Productions. The Aussie oak has just inked a deal to produce a new show on US TV giant CBS.
Voyages will follow the lives of passengers on a top-dollar cruise line. The story will unfold via each cast member and is set to be a no holds barred palm-dampener.
Jackman and CBS Paramount Network TV have signed up scribbler/helmer Max Makowski to lead the project. Makoswki wowed Sundance this year with his crime flick One Last Dance, set in Singapore, and will begin pre-production on Voyages early next year.
Jackman is waiting to leap in on Baz Luhrmann’s latest, Australia, about cattle ranching in World War II. He is also expected to film the X-Men spin off, Wolverine, at some point next year.
