So far, we don't know a great deal about Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, other than that it's being developed byGame Republic - the same studio that gave us the Genji games and Folklore, amongothers- and that it appears to be headed for a nebulous summer release. So it might not be fair, at this point, to say that it's aping the style of developer Team Ico's games, and of the upcomingLast Guardian in particular. But ifprevious screens andthe trailerare anything to go by,it sure looks like it.
Anew batch of screens for Majin hit the internets today, and while they're a damn sight more colorful than what we've seen of Last Guardian, it's impossible to look at the starkly pretty ruins and monster/boy co-op dynamic without drawing a few parallels.
