Iron Man 3 has released a new IMAX poster online, and it combines elements of all of the previously released posters into one all-encompassing epic.
At its core is a battered Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) protectively clutching Pepper Potts. Around them are Don Cheadle’s War Machine, Guy Pearce’s pouting villain Aldrich Killian, and Ben Kingsley’s laidback villain, The Mandarin.
There’s even the brace of Iron Man suits flying skyward that appeared in the poster featuring Tony Stark in his trademark down-on-one-knee pose .

Plus, Joss Whedon’s reaction to Iron Man 3 has been unearthed, via 2 Kids And A Coupon . Marvel president Kevin Feige spoke to the site about the threequel, saying:
“We have what I think is the biggest, you know, most action packed finale we’ve had. I showed the film to Joss Whedon who is our writer-director of Avengers , is currently working on Avengers 2 , and he saw the finale of this and he goes, now what am I supposed to do now? What am I going to do in Avengers 2 ?”
If Whedon’s impressed/anxious, that raises our anticipation-ometer for Iron Man 3 to dangerous levels. The film opens in the UK on 25 April 2013.
