Iron Fist trailer proves Marvel on Netflix will keep escalating the action
Iron Fist, the next Marvel hero headed to Netflix, has a brand new, kung-fu-infused trailer. The video debuted at New York Comic-Con over the weekend and it introduces some of Danny Rand's allies and enemies in his return to New York City.
The trailer also shows the use of Danny's eponymous power, which lets him focus all of his body's energy into a powerful Iron Fist, suitable for smashing down doors and punching lots of people.
It looks more like a Molten Gold Fist to me, but the RZA already has the market cornered on kung fu heroes with literal iron fists so some interpretive metallurgy is to be expected. Iron Fist is the last remaining member of The Defenders set to get his own Netflix series before the crossover begins later in 2017, and he has a high bar to clear after Luke Cage. Hopefully he can punch right through that one, too.
Starring Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, David Wenham, Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey, and Carrie-Anne Moss, Marvel's Iron Fist will hit Netflix on March 17, 2017.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
