Introducing the (possibly) last Red Faction thing ever: Path to War DLC

We all remember where we were for certain events: 9/11, the election of President Obama, Brett Hart's return to the WWE. Soon another moment will become frozen in your memory: where you were when you first saw what's in all likelihood to be the last thing ever released with Red Faction in the name. Here's the trailer for the Path to War DLC, released today for the ill-fated Red Faction: Armageddon.

THQ recently announcedthat it would not be continuing with Red Faction “in any meaningful way,” so this news doubtless comes as bittersweet for those who've taken a contrary shine to the title. You can be your own judge from this clip as to whether this the DLC constitutes a minor reprieve from those sentiments: does releasing an already-mostly-done DLC pack count as “continuing,” or just “cutting your losses”? Do four new missions and a couple of new weapons – together with a few new Achievements and Trophies – constitute “meaningful”? If you've got Armageddon already, will you be shelling out the $7 or 500 MSP for this last addition?
