Interview with a Made Man still being made

Interview with a Made Man, the Mafia-themed crime game apparently lost during publisher Acclaim's 2004 bankruptcy and subsequent closure, has been given a second chance to impress the Don on the PS2 and PC. The game will hit Europe this September, and while a US publisher has yet to be announced, we've got a family-sized selection of screens to hold you over in the meantime.

Currently being worked on by SilverBack Studios, the game sounds promising, with 17 chapters of organized crime spanning three decades, from the jungles of 1960s Vietnam to the high-rise hell of '80s New York City.

The environments will be deformable, enabling you to create your own cover, which you can then dive behind with a single button press.

Apparently, the developer has worked with real-life 'made man' Bill Bonnano, former head of the Bonnano crime family, who has made sure the portrayal of violence and family life is as realistic as possible.

"Turn your back on the wrong person, that's it, game over," Bonnano said. And yes, he was talking about the game at the time.
