In the name of the Father...
Priest set for big screen butt-kicking
Good westerns are hard to come by these days but as far as we can remember, there’s never been a half-decent vampire western…
Get ready to tear up the form book as Amityville Horror helmer Andrew Douglas gets set to direct a movie adaptation of Priest for Screen Gems.
Based on the cult horror graphic novels created by Min-Woo Hyung - the bad-ass man of the cloth tears up the Wild West along with a young sheriff, on the trail of a bunch of bloodsuckers who have kidnapped his niece.
In the frame to produce are Mike De Luca, Sam Raimi, Mitchell Peck and Josh Donen.
After the mixed reception Douglas endured for his Amityville remake, let’s pray he hits the mark with this… get this wrong and he’ll never be welcome at a comic convention again.
