IGN: officially out of ideas? PART 2
Are they really just copying us, again?
Has tired old IGN done it again and simply copied the ideas machine that is GamesRadar?
The evidence...
- Monday 5th March GamesRadar launches The Games That Shaped a Generation, a daily look at the most important 25 games ever for the GameCube, Xbox, PS2 and PC.
- From the 5th to the 9th was GameCube, from the 12th to the 16th this week is Xbox.
-Yesterday 14th March IGN launches The Top 25 Xbox Games of All Time, along with Top 25 features on what seems to be every other platform as well. Not entirely unlike we said we were going to do back on the 5th, is it?
Take a look at the features, rather similar eh? So just to clarify, the GamesRadar set-up for our feature was on the 5th of March. Our top 25Xbox gamescoverage started on the 12th of March and IGN's great idea appeared to dawn on them on the 14th of March. Quite the coincidence.

Regular readers will know IGN have previously paid homage to GamesRadar's "Top 7 - Series Run into the Ground" posted on Jan 23 2007 with their "Top 10 Tuesday: Jumped the Shark," posted a month later on Feb 20 2007. Again, take a look at the articles, what do you think?

We'll post the best comments.
And if this keeps going, look forward to GamesRadar's "Top 7 Ideas we had which suspiciously appeared on IGN shortly after."
