Hybrid pulled from Xbox Live Arcade amid troubling first day
It's not Arcade's Summer
5th Cell, the famed developer of Scribblenauts and most recently the XBLA title Hybrid, was forced topull their gamefrom the Xbox Live Marketplace today after widespread complaints that the servers were unavailable.
"We are working with Microsoft to fix these server issues," wrote 5th Cell creative director Jeremiah Slaczka on the company forums. "Many people from both 5TH Cell and MS are working together to sort the problem out. We are making progress, but it will take time unfortunately. Sorry for the inconvenience, however we don't foresee this problem to continue once it's fixed."
It's unclear yet whether the problem with the servers exists within Hybrid, or whether this is an issue with Microsoft's Xbox Live servers. However, 5th Cell said on Twitter, "We have identified a problem and are currently finding a solution. We will make the game available ASAP and apologize for the inconvenience."
