Hukkle review

Original and surreal, this blend of nature doc and murder mystery unfolds over a summer's day in a Hungarian village, where a body is discovered in a lake. Dispensing with dialogue, Hukkle pays as much attention to the activities of animals and insects as it does to its human characters. Growing ever darker in tone, it conjures a disconcertingly strange natural world.
