How It's Done: Galak-Z creator 17-Bit teaches us how to be space aces

17-Bit delivers the highly specific goods. If you have an insatiable craving for 1980s anime space fantasy but can't stomach another complete Voltron viewing, Galak-Z: The Dimensional is pretty much the only game in town. The game is more than a Robotech fetishist's delight, though. Smartly balancing authored story and procedurally generated level design, Galak-Z manages to surprise you every time you play through one of its TV-style seasons. It isn't easy making a game like this. That's why we're talking to 17-Bit's Jake Kazdal on the first episode of How It's Done, GR+ Live's new talk show about how the games we're playing are made. Tune in at 4:30PM ET/1:30PM PT to watch the stream and ask Jake about how Galak-Z came about.
