The game: The Sims (any)

The crime: Leaving your custom-made Sim to die a terrible death.

The setup: What's left to say, really? Ever since the first Sims game hit store shelves people have been finding new and increasingly disturbing ways to kill their pet people. Put one in a pool, take out the ladder and it'll drown. Fail to cure a disease for a few days and it'll wither away. Have one fix a TV in a puddle of water. Or just set the whole damn house on fire. That'll work too.

Favorite moment: Staring at the clouds long enough somehow makes a satellite fall from orbit and crush the Sim flat. Not the best way to go, but it's good viewing. Not our favorite moment: the poster's choice of music.
