Henry Cavill talks Man Of Steel
Exclusive: “I loved wearing the suit!”
In issue 204 of Total Film magazine (out now, and available for only £1.99 on your iPad ), we chat to Henry Cavill about donning the cape to play the world’s biggest superhero for Zack Snyder’s Man Of Steel .
You can read the full interview in the new issue, but we’ve got some choice quotes to whet your appetite.
On Superman’s iconic red and blue get-up, Cavill grinned as he told us, “I loved wearing the suit! You put it on every morning and you feel fantastic. I mean, you’re wearing a Superman suit, for goodness sake!”
When we asked about the process of finding a way to play the iconic superhero, he responded thoughtfully:
“This is not a movie about Zack Snyder directing something, or Henry Cavill playing a character… it’s a selfless movie about a character who is going through what he is going through. He wants to do the right thing, but he’s fallible, like the rest of us. He messes up, and that makes us love him more.”
Man Of Steel opens in the UK on 14 June 2013.
