Henry Cavill says Justice League movie not imminent
Says it will take some time to set up
Love it or hate it, Man Of Steel 's meaty box office performance has meant that the clamour surrounding a potential Justice League movie has grown louder than ever.
However, Henry Cavill has speculated that such a film would take a long time to set up, and hopes that it won't be rushed into production on the back of Man Of Steel 's success.
" Justice League could be great if done correctly," says Cavill. "It’s a very tough one to do because the DC comic heroes are all god-like in their power."
"So in this real-world universe, real-world setting we’re telling our story in, it’s going to be tough to achieve that. It has to be done very delicately with a lot of thought."
"So, it won’t be right away. I hope it’s not, anyway. It may take some time of building up other movies and other characters and introducing them together in one way or another."
Sensible thinking, although whether Warner can restrain themselves from milking that potential cash cow as soon as possible is another matter...
