Help sick kids in League of Legends
Riot teams up with Make-a-Wish
This is one trend we never get tired of hearing about. Nearly a year after the heartbreaking/warming story of young Owain Weinert who visited PopCap Games to make his own video game in April 2011, Riot alerted us to alittle storyof their own.
They invited a League of Legends player, who they're calling "Joe" (Not sure if that's a psuedonym, or just his first name) out to their headquarters in Santa Monica, California to hang out with the crew at Riot, and play a few rounds of LoL.
As nice as that little story is, it's not over yet. Riot also announced that from now until May 18, all sales of Joe's favorite champion, Jax, and the "Jaximus" character skin will go straight to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
So if you haven't already purchased the champion, head on over to LeagueofLegends.com, give the game a try, and consider spending a few bucks on Jax. It's for a good cause.
