Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls will make you HD sad on PS4

We hate saying I told you so but that's another of our Sony E3 2015 predictions ticked off with the news that David Cage's Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls are on the way to PS4. Ok, sorry, I lied. We love saying I told you so. Announced today on the PlayStation Blog, both interactive dramas from David Cage will be available digitally on an individual basis or in a physical double pack of water-logged interactive narrative sadness.

Info is thin on the ground in terms of any special features for the incredible Heavy Rain but the Ellen Page starring Beyond Two Souls will be playable in chronological order for the first time on PS4. There's no footage or trailer yet for either game but given Quantic Dream's passion for visuals, this is a duo that'll be right at home on PS4.

No release date has been listed but this year definitely sounds likely. This is a perfect chance for non PS3 owners to catch up with Heavy Rain and an excuse for the rest of us to go back to press X to Jason. Oh Ethan, why can't we QTE you?

It was previously reported that the pair would only be available in the EU but on Twitter Quantic Dream has confirmed that there will also be a North American release.
