Harrison Ford talks Indy V

And so the rumour bandwagon around a fifth Indiana Jones film rumbles on, with Harrison Ford letting slip that the macguffin - or whatever mystical object Henry Jones Jr will be after - has been locked in.

"The story for the new Indiana Jones is in the process of taking form," Ford told France's Le Figaro. "Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and myself are agreed on what the fifth adventure will concern, and George is actively at work.

"If the script is good, I'll be very happy to put the costume on again."

That's a big if - especially since George Lucas was a heavy hand on the tiller during the torturous script process of Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull - so we're not about to get anywhere near excited just yet.

But it does mean they're still actively developing it. Whether that turns out to be a good thing or bad remains to be seen.

Oh, and the next time someone at Lucas' compound sees him type the words "CG prairie dogs here" into his scriptwriting software, wipe his hard drive, will you?

Indy V? Can it be good? Could they rescue the franchise's reputation?
