Cyber Monday iPad deals are just getting started - but stock is already running out
Record-low prices are moving fast this weekend
Cyber Monday iPad deals are just getting started, but considering we've already had weeks with these models at record-low prices those discounts are starting to look a little shaky. I've watched models jump in and out of stock over the last few days, with new discounts coming and going and some models being run off the shelves completely. If you missed out on last week's offers, this could be your last chance at scoring some of the best prices I've ever seen on Apple tablets.
The good news is that models like the 10th Gen, Air, and Pro are all still available for their lowest ever prices ahead of tomorrow's official Cyber Monday iPad deals. The cheaper 9th Gen version (previously available for $199.99) is being swept off the shelves every time it's restocked at the moment, though, so you'll need to move fast if such a record-low does re-appear.
I've been hunting down the best Cyber Monday iPad deals for over five years now (and I've been pining after the latest models for far longer than that). I've also been hands-on with every current-generation model in one way or another. That means I know where to find the best deals on the right tablets, and the kinds of savings that actually constitute quality price cuts. I've found all the latest offers and piled them up just below, but I'm also tracking this sale in real time - you'll find all my latest updates further down the page.

Today's best Cyber Monday iPad deals
iPad 9th Generation (64GB) | $329.99 $199.99 at Best Buy
Save $130 - Getting your hands on an iPad for just $199.99 is a generous deal many won't miss out on, especially when this is a record-low for this 9th Gen tablet. With that in mind, if 64GB worth of storage will do you find, we recommend picking up this Cyber Monday deal while you still can.
Buy it if:
✅ You don't need a lot of storage
✅ You mainly want a device for streaming TV shows
Don't buy it if:
❌ You need more processing power for multi-tasking
iPad 10th Generation (64GB) | $349 $259 at Walmart
Save $70 - The 10th Gen iPad is looking a little shaky at the moment - this $259 record-low price is still available at Walmart, but other retailers are moving up to $279.99 this weekend. This is the cheapest I've ever seen the newer model, so it's well worth jumping on as soon as possible.
Buy it if:
✅ You want a more colorful design
✅ You need a slightly bigger screen
✅ You like to multitask with multiple apps
Don't buy it if:
❌ You need a bigger display for work
iPad Mini 7 (128GB) | $499.99 $469 at AmazonSave $30 - This isn't the lowest price this model has seen over the past few days, as it had dropped to around the $450 mark over Black Friday. However, if you want the newest model this is the offer for you and hey, over Cyber Monday we might return to those record lows again.
Buy it if:
✅ You want to store larger files
✅ You want more AI features down the road
✅ You need a more substantial processor
Don't buy it if:
❌ You don't need Apple Intelligence
❌ You want a bigger screen size
iPad Air 11-inch | $599 $499 at Amazon
Save $100 - The 11-inch iPad Air is still available for a record-low $499 sales price at Amazon. That's a $100 discount we don't see every day, but stock is running out fast ahead of Cyber Monday.
Buy it if:
✅ You want to multitask with high-demanding apps
✅ You need Apple Pencil Pro support
✅ You need it for photo editing on the go
Don't buy it if:
❌ You want more built-in storage than 129GB
iPad Pro 11-inch (256GB) | $999 $849 at Amazon
Save $150 - At a glance, this iPad is only down to $899 for this coming Cyber Monday. However, Amazon has graciously included a $50 coupon, which drops the price down to $849, a saving over $150 off its MSRP of almost $1K. With that, that makes its price a new record low and a Cyber Monday deal not worth missing out on.
Buy it if:
✅ You'll actually use 256GB of storage
✅ A high-quality display is a must
✅ You want an iPad for content creation
Don't buy it if:
❌ You want the biggest screen out there
iPad Pro 13-inch (256GB) | $1,299 $1,099 at Amazon
Save $200 - This 13-inch iPad Pro is used to sticking around the $1,200 mark but now, thanks to Cyber Monday, it's dropped to an all new record low. It's still not quite under $1K but a saving of $200 is absolutely still worth highlighting.
Buy it if:
✅ The bigger the iPad the better
✅ Having a high-quality display is a priority
✅ You want an ideal laptop alternative
Don't buy it if:
❌ You want something on the smaller side
❌ You just want to stream TV shows and movies

Cases, as far as the eye can see
With the US now joining the party, I thought it'd be a good idea to quickly go through some case deals that I've found in my travels. You see, it isn't just the tablets themselves that are getting reductions; accessories are also being slashed. Just remember to check the model any case is designed for before hitting go!
Procase for iPad 9th-Gen | $14.99 $8.89 at Amazon
Ditto leather case for 9th/8th/7th-Gen | $24.99 $11.12 at Amazon
Timecity case for 10th-Gen | $29.99 $25.49 at Amazon
What's up, US friends?
With the US of A now waking up for this fine Cyber Monday, let's turn our attention stateside. The deals are flying already, but it's worth pointing out that stock has been wobbly. In addition, a few prices have fluctuated in the past few hours. Basically, I'd recommend getting whatever you have your eye on sooner than later because it might not stick around until the end of today.
Going pro
Looking for max power and longevity? It's worth checking out the iPad Pro 11in M4, because it's currently dipped to a record low price. Plus, you can get 60 days of Audible free with it. Lovely stuff!
iPad Pro 11in M4 (256GB) | £999 £934.97 at Amazon
Music to my ears
You can still get a pretty great discount on the 10th-Gen iPad with a 10.9in screen. Indeed, it's never been cheaper than it is now as part of 2024's Cyber Monday iPad deals. If you want something with a larger display and more 'oomph' (which is the technical term, of course), this is the one to get.

A bit of holiday cheer
I don't know about you, but I'm in the mood for the festive season to begin - and this discount is certainly helping. You can currently get the 9th-Generation iPad with 64GB of storage for £80 less than normal as part of the Cyber Monday sale, and even though it's not the latest model nor the most powerful, it's still very respectable and is a great option for anyone that is just looking for a day-to-day workhorse.

The best of the best
OK, so let's get a quick roundup of what's cracking in the UK to warm up today's Cyber Monday iPad deals coverage. There's plenty on offer for 2024, though as I've already mentioned, it's worth noting that stock is running thin so pouncing sooner rather than later is recommended.
Here are the best offers I've spotted so far!
iPad 9th Gen (64GB) | £329 £249 at Very
If you aren't desperate to grab the latest iPad model, this offer is surprisingly generous. While you're only getting 64GB of storage, that's still enough for most people and Apple's technical excellence is still on show here.
iPad Pro 11th Gen (256GB) | £999 £934.97 at Amazon
Looking for a sumptuous screen and a more powerful system? The Pro says hello, and it's at a record low price for 2024's Cyber Monday iPad deals.
iPad Air 13in M2 (128GB) | £799 £749 at Amazon
Looking for another record low price? Here you go. This one immediately leapt out at me in this morning's hunt for Cyber Monday iPad deals.
It's time!
Howdy everyone! The Cyber Monday iPad deals are officially upon us, so the 12DOVE team and I will be charging through as many discounts as we can find right here. If you want to pick up one of Apple's tablets for less, now's your chance.
Just be aware that time is running out. I've already seen many offers fluctuate in price or go out of stock, so you may not have long to take advantage of the sale.
PSA: The iPad Mini 7 is running out of stock at Amazon
I've just done a quick stock check and found that it's only the Blue version of the iPad Mini 7 still available on Amazon's shelves. The other three colorways are now fully out of stock at the online retailer, which means these offers are being snapped up fast. While you're only saving $30 on the newer release, that $469 sale price represents far better value than the older Mini 6, which is largely unavailable or back up in price this weekend.

Which Apple Pencil should you buy?
Alongside its bumper selection of iPads, Apple now has more Pencils on the shelves than ever. We've got the Apple Pencil Pro, Apple Pencil USB-C, Apple Pencil 2nd Gen, and Apple Pencil 1st Gen up for grabs now and the best bit is... they're all compatible with different models. That makes finding the right Apple Pencil for your device a hell of a lot more confusing.
1st Gen
The first generation Apple Pencil is compatible with iPads that use an older lightning port to charge (as this is the only way to power up the stylus). That's the first and second generation iPad Pro 12.9-inch, 3rd generation iPad Air, base model iPads from the 6th generation up, and the iPad Mini 5th generation.
2nd Gen
The newer second generation Apple Pencil uses a magnetic strip to juice up, so it's only compatible with models featuring this charging feature. That's all 11-inch iPad Pro models, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (3rd generation up), the iPad Air 4th and 5th generation, and the iPad Mini 6.
USB-C
This is a newer Apple Pencil, but it's designed to offer a cheaper alternative to the second generation model, for iPads that use a USB-C charging port. It runs with all 11-inch iPad Pros, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (3rd Generation up), the iPad Air 4th and 5th generation, the 10th generation iPad, and both the iPad Mini 6 and Mini 7. It's also compatible with all the latest 2024 models.
Pro
The Apple Pencil Pro is one of the newest releases, and only works with the new 2024 iPad Pro, Air, and Mini models.
PSA: The Apple Pencil 1st Gen has never been cheaper
The first generation Apple Pencil has dropped to a brand new record-low price at Amazon, with a $59 sales price offering up a 40% discount. This model is only compatible with the 9th and 10th generation base models, but if you've got an older device there's a good chance you're in luck here.

While we're talking about renewed tech - be sure to check your seller before buying
Renewed iPads are available from a range of retailers, but I'd recommend sticking to stores that sell their own refurbished devices. Amazon and Best Buy run their own renewal services, but Walmart and Newegg allow third party sellers to do the same thing on their sites. If you're buying from a third party in this manner, make sure it's an established seller and its reviews are largely positive. I've seen bad actors on both sites in the past, so it's worth staying vigilant.
Buying renewed? Make sure your iPad can take the latest updates
Renewed Cyber Monday iPad deals are excellent for value - especially if you don't mind grabbing a previous generation device. Retailers like Amazon and Best Buy invest a lot into their refurbishment processes, so you can rest assured that your device has been thoroughly tested prior to purchase. However, there are a few models on the shelves I would recommend against - in fact, anything that won't receive iPad OS 18 updates should be ignored. The oldest models that still support Apple's newest updates are listed below:
iPad Pro 12.9-inch: 3rd Generation (November 2018)
iPad Pro 11-inch: 1st Generation (October 2018)
iPad Air: 3rd Generation (March 2019)
iPad: 7th Generation (September 2019)
iPad Mini: 5th Generation (March 2019)
Which iPad should you buy this Cyber Monday?
There are currently eight iPads to choose from; two base models, two Airs, two Pros, and two Minis. That's Apple's biggest ever roster of tablets - so which one is right for you?
The 9th and 10th Gen iPads are best for those after a simple streaming and web browsing device. These slabs aren't powerful enough to run more demanding apps or content creation workflows but are much cheaper. If you just want a bigger screen for catching up on shows and movies or reading digital magazines, this is your go-to.
The iPad Air is a more powerful tablet, designed to accommodate more handwriting gestures via the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen while also being powerful enough to handle more demanding apps overall. That means you'll be running games smoother, with more power to put behind split-screen multitasking as well. I recommend the iPad Air to anyone after an iPad for note-taking and lighter schoolwork.
The iPad Mini isn't necessarily more powerful than other tablets, despite its higher price compared to the base models. However, it is considerably smaller. Obviously, that means it's not the best for those who want to use split-screen features or stream their movies at full scale. However, if you want a pocket-friendly slab which can easily be held in one hand this is your winner.
I only recommend the iPad Pro to those who already know they need high-end power. If you just want an everyday tablet, you shouldn't be sinking cash into these luxury devices. This is the top end of Apple's range, offering super-fast screens and heavy processors for demanding workflows across more complex apps. If you want to replace your laptop and use your tablet for all day to day work (particularly content creation) this is where you should be.
The 2nd Gen Apple Pencil is at a record-low price right now
The second generation Apple Pencil is still available for just $79.99 at Amazon this weekend - a return to a record-low price I haven't seen since October. This has become a fairly rare saving over the last few months - after spending a decent amount of time at this position over the summer. If you've got a compatible device, this is a must-see.
Apple Pencil 2nd Gen | $129 $79.99 at Amazon
PSA: Remember to check colorways
If you stumble upon a Cyber Monday iPad deal that looks like it's run out of stock it's important to always check alternative colorways. Certain versions of each iPad will always be snapped up before others, so if you're initially faced with a dead deal, checking through different colors can sometimes prove worthwhile. Retailers move these discounts around particularly quickly when the heat is on!
The 11-inch iPad Pro is still holding out at Amazon
The 11-inch iPad Pro is seeing its lowest price yet at Amazon, with a $100 on-page saving and a further $50 coupon discount. That leaves us at a fantastic $849.99 sales price - impressive, considering Amazon didn't even have stock of this device this time last week. Competition is going to warm back up again today, though, so I'll be keeping a close eye on both colorways for any signs of stock wobbling.
11-inch iPad Pro | $999 $849 at Amazon
The 13-inch iPad Air isn't so lucky...
The 13-inch iPad Air is also seeing a record-low price at Amazon, with $100 off the $799 dropping us down to $699. However, these models are fading from the shelves a little faster. I've just checked, and only the Space Gray and Blue models are still available at this rate on Amazon's site - the Purple and Starlight colorways are now out of stock. That means these tablets are running out fast - I often see certain colorways running out before others, and it's a good sign that other options will soon be unavailable as well.
iPad Air 13-inch: $799 $699 at Amazon
The 11-inch iPad Air looks pretty sturdy at Amazon right now
With so many Cyber Monday iPad deals running off the shelves this weekend, I'm surprised to find the 11-inch iPad Air still holding its position at Amazon. Not only is this super rare $100 discount a record-low, but it's available on every colorway of the new 2024 model this weekend - and each one is still available right now. I've watched these numbers dance around for weeks now, with supplies looking particularly shaky at times, but things look pretty level at the moment.
iPad Air 11-inch | $599 $499 at Amazon
The iPad Mini 6 isn't worth it anymore
The iPad Mini 6 was living the high life last week, down at a record-low $349.99 sales price with no signs of stock struggling. That's all changed this weekend, with Walmart, Amazon, and Best Buy either raising that price to over $450 or running out of stock completely. Considering it's now more expensive than the newer iPad Mini 7 in some stores, I'd recommend opting for the 2024 version this Cyber Monday.
You'll find the A17 Pro device available for $469 at Amazon - a $30 discount on the newly released tablet and a record-low price.
iPad Mini 7 | $499 $469 at Amazon
Walmart is the place to be for the 10th Gen model
Walmart is winning both the stock and price race when it comes to the 10th Generation iPad this Cyber Monday. The retailer has the lowest price on the web with its $259 rate, and it's still got the yellow, white, and pink models on the shelves.
Amazon, meanwhile, is still stuck at a $279.99 sales price and only has the pink version up for grabs. Best Buy does have a wider range of colors available, but is also $20 more expensive than Walmart right now.
This is the first year I've been able to actually recommend the 10th Gen models - they've always been too expensive compared to the 9th Gen in previous Cyber Monday iPad deals. However, these sales prices are more than worth investigating if you're after a little extra power.
iPad 10th Gen | $349 $259 at Walmart
Best Buy only has the silver iPad 9th Gen in stock now
Best Buy was the last bastion of stock for record-low prices on the 9th Gen iPad, after Amazon ran out of supplies last week and Walmart's range is stuck at a higher price tag. If you're keen to scoop up that $199.99 sales price before stock goes completely, you'll want to jump on this one as soon as possible. I'm now only seeing the silver colorway on Best Buy's shelves - so these tablets are being snapped up fast.
iPad 9th Gen | $329.99 $199.99 at Best Buy
I'm tracking all the stock of this year's best Cyber Monday iPad deals live - so you always know when a new or returning price cut pops up. I've seen retailers sharing the love this year, sometimes Best Buy has a record-low, sometimes Amazon drops an extra coupon discount, and sometimes Walmart swoops in with a competition-beating offer. I'm keeping all these stores open and refreshed to find all the biggest discounts as soon as they land.
