Veteran voice actor and professional handsome fella Nathan Fillion will apparently reprise his role as Halo 3: ODST hero Edward Buck in Halo 5: Guardians this October. A trailer from Game Informer showcasing their July issue coverage of the game shows Buck in his newly-rendered glory, indicating he’ll have some sort of impact on the plot of the game.
When we last saw Sgt Buck, he was an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper (ODST) - meaning that, unlike Master Chief, he did not possess any cybernetic augmentations or gene therapy enhancing his skills, nor did he have the nigh-indestructible Spartan armor. However, not only does Buck seem to be wearing Spartan-IV armor now, but he also appears to be a part of Fireteam Osiris, the group of soldiers hunting down the AWOL Master Chief. That's him on the far right:
We expect Halo 5 to have a big showing at E3 2015; perhaps we’ll learn more then?
