Firefight has been a fan-favorite staple of the Halo series since its introduction in Halo 3: ODST. While the wave-based co-op mode was replaced by Spartan Ops in Halo 4 and initially absent from Halo 5: Guardians, studio 343 Industries is bringing it back with aplomb this summer. Even better, you can help shape the future of Firefight by participating in a beta from April 14 to April 18.
Things are a little different this time around, as Firefight has been rolled into the existing Warzone mode. That means you'll get to use your REQ packs (in-game cards that translate to temporary power-ups, vehicles, super weapons, and unlocks) to take out enemy AI across large-scale maps made for 12v12 battles.
