Halo 3... better than everything?

Halo 3 is better than... Shadow of the Colossus

Okay, okay. We admit we're just trying to bait you now. Shadow of the Colossus is far too special and unique to be compared to anything, really, let alone something as vastly different as Halo 3.

But you have to give Microsoft's shooter credit, once again, for emulating greatness so well. Scarabs - the towering, ground-shaking, man-crushing alien behemoths that populate Halo 3's most spectacular scenes - inspire true awe. And, like the colossuses in Shadow, they can only be defeated if the player is bold enough to literally scale their heights.

Shadow of the Colossus may be the master of big boss battles, but Halo 3 isn't a bad student.
