Guitar Hero dev rocks new gig
Goodbye Guitar Hero, hello "ambitious endeavor"...
Harmonix, the developer behind the plastic axe-wielding PlayStation wonder, Guitar Hero, has revealed that it's working on a brand new music project, with producer Daniel Sussman saying that it's a "bigger and more ambitious endeavor than we felt we could pursue within the bounds of the Guitar Hero franchise."

Further details are still top secret at the moment, although Sussman did also confirm to Gamasutra that Harmonix won't be developing Guitar Hero III,saying that Tony Hawk developer Neversoft would "presumably" be handling the title.
We'll keep our collective ears close to the ground and as soon as we hear any word on Harmonix's new venture we'll be sure to bang the drums.
