Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt wants to expand the Boys and Girls Club in Lake Stevens, Washington, but he needs your help. Not sure why it's such a big deal to Mr. Intergalactic Bigshot? Watch this heartwarming video and let him show you:
Lake Stevens is Pratt's hometown, and the Boys and Girls Club is where he went to stay out of trouble. Now he wants to pay it forward and make sure other kids have the same opportunity for healthy fun and positive role models that he had.
The video is part of Pratt's partnership with Omaze, a sort of "Kickstarter for charities" group that helps funnel money toward nonprofit endeavors while giving those who donate swag-nificent rewards. By dropping just $10 on Pratt's campaign, you get one entry for the grand prize raffle: a tour of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 set, and time to hang out with Pratt himself.
Here's to hoping you win and Star-Lord can make you as happy as he made these kids. Seen something newsworthy? Tell us!
