Get The Celica Rally Car

Go to Endurance race. See the Laguna Seca 200 mile? If you do good. If you don't your probably blind. If you do, compete in the Laguna Seca 200 mile race. If you win, You get a Celica Rally Car that has 569 horsepower. ( Easy to win the Laguna Seca 200 mile race with a Escudo Peaks Pike Version if you can turn good.)

PS1 | Submitted by anonymous

Get The Escudo Peaks Pike Version Easily

Go to Special Events at the Race selection screen. Go to the Grand Touring Car Trophy. Race in Midfield Raceway and win. if you do, you get the Unisia Jecs Skyline that you can sell for 250,000 credits. Go back to the Midfield Raceway and race there again 7 more times. After you do that, you will have 2,000,000 credits if you started out with 0 credits before you started all of the Midfield Raceway. THen after that, go to East City and go up to Suzuki. Click that, and then go to Special. CLick that and at first, the Escudo Peaks Pike Version won't come up, but then go top the next one and you'll see the Escudo Peaks Pike VErsion. Buy it. You'll be left with zero credits though so it's a tough choice if you want to buy it. ( You can pretty much win evry single race that the Escudo Peaks Pike VErsion can participate in. If you didn't start out with 0 credits, just do the Midfield Raceway and sell the Unisia Skyline's you get until you get 2,000,000 credits)

Nissan R390 GT1 '97

This car is obtainable in the Gran Turismo All Stars League, Laguna Seca. At first this car is a shocker with 351 hp, barely reaching 250 km per hour (approximately 156 mph) and handling like it is driving on ice, but it is worth quite a bit. Use the following settings to get it to hit 400+ km per hour (approximately 250+ mph), awesome acceleration, and an outstanding grip. Turbo Kit Stage 4, Computer chip, Port Grinding, Engine Balancing, -Racing Slicks (Super Soft), Gearbox (fully customized service), Weight Reduction Stage 3, Traction Control, Active Stability Control. Gear Ratios: 1st: 4.221, 2nd: 2.698, 3rd: 1.910, 4th: 1.423, 5th: 1.115, 6th: 0.920, Final: 2.500, Auto Setup: 23. LSD: Original Settings, ASC (Active Stability Control): 90, TCS (Traction Control System): 25. Note: When going into corners, hold the accelerator and brake at the same time. This prevents the car from sliding.

400 Kilometers Per Hour!

First you need at least 2 million bucks. Then go and buy the Toyota GT-1. Go to tune and tune it to the maximum for turbo and other engine modifications. Then get a fully customized gearbox. Then go to machine testing and setup the 'box so that first gear is in the middle of the bar and second is diagonally down left and carry on with this until sixth is right next to the left barrier. (I got to 429.74 kph)

Easy Money: Endurance

All those who have played GT1 will not like the endurance races, will you? wrong answer. Go to apricot Hill 200K, and win there. If you like to cruise round in a Skyline R34, you will lap 2nd about twice. This is so eeeeezy, that i crashed many a time, yet still retained my lead. Go on soft tires, although you will have to make around 5-6 pit stops (or at least i did, probably because i am very wreckless) you get 500,000 creds at the end, plus a stratos that you can sell for 75,000 creds. by the way, endurance lovers only!!!! (like me)

PS1 | Submitted by anonymous

Easy Money

Race the Special Events mid-engine rear-wheel drive challenge. Win the Red Rock Valley race and get the Ford GT 40 and 15,000 credits. Repeat the race using the GT 40 you have just won (You should win the race very easily). Sell the next GT 40 to get a tidy sum of 250,000 credits!!!

GRAN TURISMO 2 GLITCHES

PS1 | Submitted by NIsmoGTR

Open Race Entries

Here's a glitch in Gran Turismo 2! Every race that specifies a certain type of car, i.e. Station Wagons, Muscle Cars, Compact Cars, etc, has no restrictions as to car type! That's right, you can use any car you want! The only restriction is the horsepower. I used a Supra on almost every one of these races and blew'em all away! NOTE: this doesn't work on the drivetrain specific races. (FF, FR, 4WD, etc.)

GRAN TURISMO 2 CHEATS

PS1 | Submitted by Lars

Mad Cash For Real

Don't mess around with any other race for money except the Red Rock Valley race under the GT All Stars. Start out with buying the Suzuki Escudo(It is under the special options and costs two million alone.)Take this car to the Red Rock Valley race of the GT all Stars race. Winning gets you 50,000 dallars and the car you get(a TRV Speed 12) is worth 500,000.
