Gotham City Impostors art doesn't take itself too seriously
After 24 hours, we finally have an image to go with what little we know of the FPS
Yesterday Warner Bros Interactive revealed its newest game, a downloadable FPS set in Batman’s Gotham City, developed by Monolith (FEAR, Condemned) titled Gotham City Impostors. The first details on the multiplayer-focused FPS were a lot to handle, especially coming to terms withthe fact that you’d be playing as vigilantes inspired by Batman and Joker, instead ofplaying as those iconic characters. Perhaps that’s hard to picture with just a logo and a description, so Warner was nice enough to release the first art for the game:
It certainly looksinteresting. Our first description of the game being influenced by Team Fortress 2 makes sense now, as most of the characters are stylized and a tad comical. Compared to the world of Arkham Asylum, these guys seem a little out there, but in a fun way. Also those accessories and items they’re carrying are probably just a taste of the customizable options open to you in character creation. When comparingthe looks of both sides, personally we’ll side with the Bats for now, but now that you’ve seen them, which gang do you side with?
